Notable roles include serving as Senior Director and CISO at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, where Bob built their information security and risk management program from the ground up. During his tenure, Regeneron transformed from a small bio-research firm to an international, fully commercialized pharmaceutical company. Prior to Regeneron, Bob built and headed up Johnson & Johnson’s Global Security Operations organization where he was responsible for the protection of infrastructure and data that spanned 60 countries and over 120,000 employees.
Bob is a veteran of the US Army, earned a Master’s of Science in Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology from Hoboken, NJ and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Kean University in Union, NJ. He holds several professional certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). Damian Taylor is the Chief Information Security Officer for Landry’s, Inc., where he is responsible for leading Landry’s global and diverse enterprise information security and IT risk strategy.
Damian is a seasoned security executive with a passion for information security research. He has over 15 years of IT experience with certifications in the areas of Security Leadership, Computer Forensics, Incident Handling, and Reverse Engineering.
Damian is a retired Naval Officer. Prior to joining Landry’s, Damian served as a CISO within the Department of Defense. In that role, Damian set organizational information security and technology risk vision and strategy in key areas, including governance, policy, awareness, project management, audit, assessment, incident response, operations, technical investigations, business continuity and disaster recovery. He also served in various other IT Security technical, leadership and research roles.
Outside of the office, Damian is an active member in the cyber security industry. He has been an active contributor to the Potomac Institute Cyber Center since 2011 and has been a contributor to the National Institute for Science and Technology. He’s also spent time teaching undergraduate courses in digital forensics as an adjunct professor.
He received his bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University and earned a master’s degree from Stanford University and Trident University.
